I always liked long hair, and braiding it and whatnot... And I also LOVE Bob Marley.
Reason why I like Dreadlocks? Well, I like the style of them, to keep it simple. XD

Pretty much the same reason why I got them, I've always wanted long hair and dreadlocks were pretty much the way to go. And too be honest, I have gotten a little bit more spiritual ever since I've gotten them. I guess you can say that they gave me a better perspective on life.

Dread-heads have a certain panache that is suitably lacking in other individuals... plus maintaining fine-tuned hygienic dreadlocks really makes a proverbial statement, a hearkening homage to "spiritual roots". Also, they really look sincerely bad-ass. <3

I agree with the last part, most definitely! I also agree that dreadlocks are not widely accepted in society because of the lack of knowledge about them. Though in some places, it's becoming an epidemic. A lot of people are becoming more natural and locking up their hair and locks are starting to be somewhat more accepted in the work-force. I do believe that having fine-tuned hygienic locks, like you said, is a must even if you freeform.
