Looks like it's definitely that time of the year again, especially when you need air conditioning at 7 o'clock in the morning. That's when you know it's here to stay. Until December.

Ah yes, Summer here has always meant the disapperance of the clouds and the return of the most brutal desert tempatures (beginning in April) any state has ever seen. But for someone like myself who tries to remain optimistic despite my harsh surroundings, it also means some form or another of escape from this scorched wasteland.

So in celebration of Summer, the actual period of time that one gets to relax and take time off somewhere far away and -not- the season itself, tell me what your plans are for escaping this year?
