I'm in the top right corner! Well...close to it. I'm near Watertown. We moved out here because our rent shot up. From $900 to $1400, and the bf was being laid off. So we moved out here with his parents' help. Not all that great but we have a roof over our heads. c:

Wow, yea, that's a big jump in the rent, and the rent in SD is generally pretty cheap (and no state income tax!). But there isn't exactly a whole lot happening there... What do you guys get out and do?

I love not having income tax. More money from my meager paycheck.

No there is not. We don't do a whole lot since it's winter. Just movies and WoW. We live next to a lake, so in the summer time it's swimming and boating. Else really....yeah...nothing is out here. Maybe I'll start a garden.

I used to be one of those people that rarely got out at all, so SD was the perfect sort of place for that. If you're more of a homebody, it can be a very nice place to live. Do you guys enjoy it at least?

Yeah, I'm def a homebody. I'd rather stay home than be outside around people most of the time. Yes and no. I would like it more if we weren't living with his parents and brother but what ya gonna do? I plan on moving out into my own apartment someday, just to have my own space. And get a second job. I do like the fact SD doesn't have the hustle and bustle like Minneapolis. That place can be horrid sometimes. D:
