Recently got back from a week long camping trip to Washington DC, and I gotta say, it was awesome. It did so many things for me; got me out of the repetitive rut I’d been in, making me feel far more creative, got two novels of the Dresden Files read (great, great series of books) of which I haven’t read much of anything in quite a while, and just seeing the sights and history of my nation’s capital gave me something of a spiritual lift. Sure, for the most part, what goes on in those buildings no longer reflects what they stand for, but to see the memorials and government buildings and reflect on what they really stand for, what they mean to the ideals of this country, is a humbling experience. I sorely, sorely needed that trip. I may even post picture from my visit to the National Zoo as well, provided they’re clear enough. A 5 megapixel camera built into a camera on full zoom doesn’t take much for the shot to get blurry from slight movements of the hands.

Also, as mentioned in the title, I shall be opening for commissions. Come Monday, I will be officially open for commissions. The details of which can be found here, of which I will likely repeat in another journal come Monday.

And now, to spend too many hours playing Diablo 3 when I likely ought to be sleeping...
