Friday is Shopping Adventure Day!

For me at least. This Friday I'm buying some kitchen cabinets and I can't wait! Some of you know, my house does not have wall cabinets in the kitchen, just the floor cabinets. Crocuta and myself bought the house (via mortgage) Thanksgiving 2010 and it did not come with upper kitchen cabinets. The house was a foreclosure (it was 100 feet underwater and I think the owners walked away from it) and the previous owners took the cabinets. I'm very happy they didn't put cement down the pipes.
At any rate, no wall cabinets since January 2011 (when I moved), When I moved in, I had to buy appliances, so that's where my money went to. Bought them on an amazing Black Friday deal and on the Sears Card, so I could pay them off over time. I decided to bite the bullet after a year and a half and finally get them (the cabinets). The new door on my bedroom inspired me (it was the formal living room), so time for cabinets, time to make this house really seem like my home. Next year it will be new roof (if I can get the money for it), as my current roof is on it's last leg.
Going to be going to Chinese home improvement shops and hoping they'll haggle with me (I love to haggle and I'm on a very strict budget). Hopefully I can also buy a base cabinet for the one they took on the end and some butcher block counter top for that too.
After adventures in home improvement shopping, going to be going to Forbidden Island Tiki bar. Love my Tiki bars <3
FYI, my house decently small (1300 SF), I'm finally getting things together, improving on my skills, people are noticing and it feels amazing. So I'm a bit of a late-bloomer compared to my sister, but better late than never.

What am I saying... any day with your company in it is awesome.
