Beat my previous time & speed, but paid for it

General
Saturday I got to bed at 5 A.M. after a night of barhopping. I was woken up at 9:30 and since I was awake decided that I may as well go do a run.
I ran the reservoir loop; I finally got the Garmin Forerunner to GPS lock before I started running, so I not only got accurate timing but accurate pace and distance, as well.
So the Garmin confirmed the distance as quoted by Central Park, 1.56 miles. I did the run, subtracting the climb up the stairs once I activated the timer (22 seconds), in 12:03.
That's 1.56 miles in 12 minutes 3 seconds...or 7.76 MPH for the distance, With under 5 hours of sleep. That's FASTER than an 8-minute miles - that's 7-minute 43-second miles. Considering my age and that I've only been running outside for 3 weeks, that's...pretty impressive, I think.
The problem is that I think I was just too tired. I did the pace but I really wanted to go 2 laps - I only manage 1 before I said "Fine. I'm done". The problem was that my form was messy so apparently I was heel-striking because of the tiredness, as later (for 2 days) my feet were KILLING me.
Ugh.
Yesterday I treated myself to a new pair of FiveFingers, Bikila LS's, so I ran to work today, 2.4 miles but it turned out that the weather forecast was WAY off - "Fog" must mean "Sprinkles" on some planet the weather forecasters live on. It only looked "Cloudy" from my window Since I was prepared and committed anyway, I ran.
The 6 pound pack I had on today hurt my right shoulder, the Forerunner's battery died 8 minutes out and I even slipped and fell on a granite sidewalk that some moron designer put in without traction treading. Grrrr. It wasn't a "good" time, somewhat over 21 minutes I think, but considering wet surface and light rain, falling down and shoulder pain, any run you can complete is a good run
At least my feet don't hurt

Either way man, Keep on Runnin!^^
Realized why I was having so much trouble running - I hit my mental and physicall endurance this month. Hit the wall, HARD.
I'll try again after I fully recover.
