Having to hover over the corner on FA now to see if I have any new submission, comment, watch, or favorite messages.

for me its confusing sometimes. but you will get used to it, i like the new style.

It shows my submissions without hovering, too. Maybe you need to do an F5.

I have to press F5 on every single new page I go to, and also even when I leave the homepage then come back, I have to press it again, every time. It's just as mildly irksome as hovering over the corner. First world problems, I know.
