Can someone tell me if we switched to nineteen hours in a day, or if I'm just going crazy and loosing track of time? Anyway, hope everyone out there is doing well. The nice weather has finally arrived, and it's time to break out the hiking gear again.

So it's been a busy few months, and a lot of changes have happened. But to keep a very long story short, I quit my job, got another one and feel incredibly good about it. It's a lot closer to home, has a better schedule and pays a bit more. More than that, this seems like a great group to be working with and the project is much more interesting. I get more of a chance to expand my skill set beyond the very narrow band of tasks my previous supervisors pigeonholed me into.

The downside to all this is that while I've gone and jumped through the business bureaucracy hoops and training for this new position, I've had very little off time. But now I've finally settled into a routine, and I can get back to trying to finish the couple of sketches that have been sitting on the back burner.
