My thoughts on some of the Anti-Gay marriage stuff

What seems to be the pivotal core of the anti-gay marriage movement is ... in my opinion utter and complete bull..
"In order for a child to grow up in a healthy environment, They need to be raised by a mother and a father"
Really... The court said "arguments relating to religious beliefs can not be used in this case" ... so this was the best you could come up with?
What is really making me pull my fur out ... nobody has pointed to the obvious plot hole in their story... If this is about the children as you say they need both parents, where are the proposals to ban divorce in cases where there are children?
If they really give a crap about the well-being of the children, I better see a proposal to ban divorce on the ballot... its 2012 and they have been using that argument since the start of the Prop 8 battle. in 2008...
They are using that point because its hard to prove otherwise... it also resonates with every parent in the world. It doesnt take much to make a parent blindly fight for a cause once they believe its justified by protecting the children.
I know there are many other problems with their argument ... that one just really annoys me.

he doesn't sound like he's bitching from his high horse, it sounds like he's bitching from under a guy's boot.
and the ONLY reason i've ever heard for gays not marrying is religious, or just trying to rationalize religious reasons. it's honestly a fact at this point.
if you can think of a logical non religious reasons gays shouldn't get married that i can't totally destroy in one sentence, then go ahead and say it.
oh and by the way, saying you didn't solve world hunger, so we're allowed to repress you, is NOT A VALID ARGUMENT.
So sacred and full of sanctity over fifty percent get divorced and can get married in a fucking drive through, and if it is true that marriage is for raising kids.. every couple in the world unwilling or unable to have children should be banned from being married just like homosexuals.
Personally, I have one view on the whole situation and subject.
It shouldn't need to be labeled something different, nor should it be denied to any two people who are in love: it should just be marriage.
Most of those against gay marriage were likely the same kind of people who were against inter-racial marriage or female rights.. n look where that all lead.
Love and the rights afforded to those in love should not be limited or altered between anyone. Gay, Straight, Bisexual, Asexual? Male, Female, Hermaphrodite, Transgender? Black, White, Asian, Latino?
Guess what people? they're all Human.
And no human should be told they can't do something other people can freely do, just because of something they were born with and couldn't control.
