wow...
I just got done watching An Inconvenient Truth and holy crap. It has to be the most well done documentry on world issues that I have ever seen. The points and statements he gave, were all supported by solid facts and he helped prove and show people the truth about the issue and seperate it from all the heresay, doubt, rumors, and congenctures that have been out there for years. I highly recommend it to anyone who's ever been curious about global warming. Just amazing...
The dvd isn't comming out till late November>.< So if any of you want to see it now, here's the torrent ;)

I just take care of the wildlife, I worship Mother Nature.
Went to see it at a preview screening, wonderful film. I very much enjoyed myself ^_^
Good move using Futurama in there, it created a 'hip/ atmosphere which I'm sure will attract more people to it, it lightened my mood about the film instantly!
From what I've heard the movie isn't Michael Moore style propaganda (he does like to sensationalize and entertains more than informs in my opinion), but is rather more tending toward accurate fact. Or rather one side of the fact. It's a tricky issue, one where you have a lot of scientists on both sides saying different things.
I, for one, am somewhat less concerned about this nebulous "global warming" issue (that I tend to see as somewhat of a buzz-word for the masses) and more concerned about the fact that the pollutants in the air and water are causing sickness and in some cases even death among the human and animal populations of the world right now. Whether or not the world is getting warmer and whether or not we can change that, we have GOT to stop making our planet unlivable. Reducing the output of pollutants is something we definitely can do. And I didn't need to watch a movie to realize that or the need for it.
