In my experience, most badges I've ever commissioned digitally, I have needed to print out and laminate myself c: its not hard at all, and I think some artists like that more...^^; I also have my own clips and what not.

i was wondering how that worked, since if i ever opened badge commissions, i could print, laminate, and ship them (it'd just cost more) xDD not sure where you get clips from O:

Yeah thats why I think some artists like it better if the commissioner did it themselves. So all the artist does is have to draw it instead of having to get out and do that stuff (unless you have a printer a machine to laminate at your house).
As for the clips? Got a pack of them at my Office Depot.

I'm sure they do, though I ordered one and did the printing, lamination, etc myself since it was a rush order and she wasn't really open for badge commissions. ouo

Just have to have a place you can go to for quality printing, and laminating if you don't wanna hassel yourself with it. I know Office Depot does all that in bulk if you ask.

my mom actually has a very good printer at her workplace with this very thick type of paper Cx and i've laminated some pictures before, so i think i could do that myself xD

Yeh, my boyfriend and I went out of our way to buy a quality desk printer and a laminating machine just for our badges xP
Got the clips and hole puncher and it was fairly easy to do, but some might be ok with doing everything after the art themselves.

You can get clips from any office store. (staples, office depot)
Some artists just do the art and it's up to the commissioner to do the rest.

I've seen a lot of artist who do all the work for you and mail it to you along with an email of the digital copy and sometimes a print out of it.

Personally I find it easier to do it all myself because I'm picky with how I want my badge structured >.<

I print laminate and punch but I am iffy about sending the clip til i get better shipping materials
