Comic Storyboarding Help

I will close this in ONE week. If I get no responses in that time, I have an alternate project I will work on instead.
Hey guys. I really, really, really want to make a short comic. (Max at about 50ish pages) over the course of the summer. Just a simple black and white comic.
The only issue is...I fail at storyboarding.
Don't get me wrong. I am a writer. I love to compose stories, flesh out characters, delve into the plot and the like. But...for some reason the story I want to create the most...will not come to me.
I am prepared of course to continue working on it solo, but I would like to ask my watchers if anyone wants to do a collaboration on this comic? You don't have to be the best, or even great at writing, just willing to dedicate some time into helping me create a new world. I don't know what I could give you in return...I could draw some stuff for you and of course your name would be on the comic as well.
Now, here is the basic premise of the story:
Set a long time ago in an unmarked time, set in a world inequivalent to the old Middle East, before the modernised western world came around. Most of the story takes place in a brothel called The Golden Sands. The main characters are two gryphons. Ishatar a well known mercenary that is often employed as a guard for caravans. Straight. Muscular. Tall. And the next person is also a gryphon. Hawk based. I don't know if I want it to be a male or female. Regardless, this gryphon is going to be a whore at the The Golden Sands. Pretty much this is going to be a relationship between the two and a quest for freedom. (whore, from the brothel and Ishatar from all the blood he has spilt)
I must admit, I am kinda obbssessed with the old middle eastern culture so, yea. The story should reflect a good amount of things like that, plot and art wise.
Pretty much all I need to say, as been said. Hopefully.

Just a few more things you should know: Are you willing to do research? I love anything that is at least mostly historically correct, from the period's clothes, habits mannerisms, beliefs and just general way of life. I know I will delve into a ton of research on my end, and need to know if your storyboard is going to reflect the same dedication.
Also...like I said, but I want to make sure I am being perfectly clear: this is all for free. Any work you help me with/do will all be because you simply want to create. I of course, will try to make it worth while, maybe some gift art, and of course feel free to through in a cameo for your self if wanted. But otherwise...there will be no profit gleaned for any party from this comic.
Oh and during any point of our collab, you want to take a break, step down or the like, I will NOT hold it against you. I understand that most people do have lives to live. :P
