My Computer is dying

My computer is, as we speak, delivering it's dying monologue. I will not be online for a few days and will only be around for the next hour at the most while I finish doing some last chance backups. And then a few days later I will be on newer, much better computer. Specs will be shared upon arrival of said computer.

Not unless they replace laptop fan units and controller boards free of charge!

The laptop is at least 6 years old. It's not even remotely worth the hassle attempting to repair it. That and the new computer's already been purchased and with any luck will be shipped to me today and will arrive within another 3 days. I shall enjoy smashing this one with a hammer then dropping it off at an e-waste recycling location.
