Fear of talking
You know what sucks? Being scared of talking to someone you recently rubbed the wrong way. So intimidated and petrified, that you freeze right up. Afraid you'll somehow get them angry at you again, afraid you'll say the wrong thing, or give off the wrong impression, or what ever.

Babe, I promise you, I know exactly how you feel. I really wish that there was a way to unbind the knots, but so far, I haven't found a way. Just know, you have my support, man. Hang in there.

Oh, I rmemeber exactly how that feels. I got a mental disorder than gives me that problem more often than I'd like. Best thing to do is admit your wrongs and explain you didn't mean it to be taken badly. Or that you slipped up and got a little excited. Or whatever the case may be. Point is, just be sure they know you're sorry and you didn't mean it. If they still have issues with you, either give them more time or think about if they're really that great a friend.
