it is characterized by a swelling of the iris which redefines the word pain for those of us that had had it. and i have a broken back and once had 6 inches of rusty car door in my leg amoung other horrible injuries and i would take all of them at once again rather than every get this damn thing again. Imagine the worst bruise you have ever had. something sore and painful and just outright horrific. if you move it feels like you just got it again. now make it react to light. the slightest change in light. the very slightest change in light. no imagine that this bruise is say on one leg. and you cover that leg to keep it from moving and having light on it. except that everytime one leg does something the other mirrors it. Oh and the light in your dreams also makes your eyes react too. so there is that. i see something even remotely bright in a dream and it is as if i am seeing it in real life. a total joy. and even though i have meds to make it go away it will never go away completely since it is part of a group of autoimmune diseases i have like psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.
though sometimes when i am in a good way like right now it all seems like such a funny joke. and honestly one does have to laugh at this stuff on occasion or be consumed by it
