Most people here in the States think of June 14th as Flag Day, which is all well and good, but today has also been designated (mostly by a handful of websites) as National Skunk Day!

It's a viable holiday outside the fandom because here in the states you are allowed to remove the glands, making skunks very viable, if still quite unusual, pets.
