My course is a national diploma, which counts as three normal college courses in england. The units we do all add up to those three final grades, which are an average of the unit grades. A distinction is an A, a merit is a B, a pass is a C.

I have to say, FF7 is good, but I can't see why its so damn popular. X3 Its like any of the others! I muchly prefer four and two. Four being two in america when it launched.

same here - FF7 is not "the best" but i'll admit it's story is very well crafted. and aside from a couple plot-holes ("because phoenix downs don't work in cut-scenes")

but i think it's big thing is the being first in 3-d part of the western world's view of life. i believe 6 is the best- due to it's very... un-final fantasy story and character plots. i mean come on, Kefka is a crazy nut, bent on not only god-like power, but just simple sheer destruction at any cost.

and, to date yet still, Kefka was the only one to succeed in his plans. at that? ONLY half way into the game. damn. alter the face of the planet, gain not only a god's power, but three! BECOME a god! then proceed to rule the land with an iron fist so heavy, it breaks even the main protagonist's will! seriously? sephiroth could only dream.

and really? Sephiroth stole Kefka's ultimate attack? and then weakened it? ... *yawn* is all i could say.

as for your classes... that' certainly not close ot how we do things here. here, your diploma only mean something if you get "Degree" (as a diploma and degree are two very different things) in associates or higher, and it's less a grouping of courses, but a document that proves you've attained a stand level of exceptions (someone with an associate's in IT could be hired anywhere as a grunt-worker, since you know the minimum required skills to work in the IT field.)

very rarely does your individual classes account for jack. sicne i have only a diploma (it basically the equivalent of a sticker that says "good job!") and holds literally no influence at all, unlike a degree, and a couple of certificates (only good at sub-par dead end jobs, if even that lucky. and i'm not.)

basically, to go for a job, i have high school. that's all that legally i can stand for, here. and now a days you've got to be good at getting a job to get a job- what requirements you meet dont mean anything.

for instance, at mcdonalds you -require- a high school diploma to apply. however- between my family, in which the WHOLE family works at fast food places (all need the high school diploma) me and my brother, junior, are the only two that have graduated. junior cant get hired for nearly anything, and i've yet to even get my first job- but everybody else, it seems almost effortless to get a job, despite missing the very core requirements. how they do it i dont know?

and if you dont want a fast-food job? get good grades at college, and get at least an associate's. "or else."

not good at school? dylexic? adhd? problems keeping up? pfft. too bad, so sad. go work at mcdonalds for the rest of your life.

in my area the school systems are horrid. particularly when i was in school, that decade back now. keep up or get out, problems or not. (it was hell just to graduate with bare-legal minimums. 2.0 gpa, and ... most of my core classes complete >..>)

...never did succeed at math classes, so i never completed algebra- nor did i get to English 4 class (both are were requirements for graduation) so i had to substitute some... what one might call "failure classes" or "let's make this so easy even they can graduate" classes.

well the real reason you can be "over-qualified" for a place like mcdonalds is a social-business thing. since you've advanced so far in life: one) they believe you'll find it boring, and move on soon, forcing them to do more work to find yet another replacement. the rule of thumb being when you hire somebody make it last. and two) since you've the mind on you to advance so find you're now not "minion" material, that can simply drone on day by day without thought.

or.. at least that is how it is here.

and YES! my brother's not a fan of older FF's due to their... lower visual capability, however when i told him about Kuja... oh dear lord. feel in love!

and yeah, Kuja might night be the most powerful villian. in that respect, okay he's a joke. but you know what? he's EVIL. why? because he's evil. all he needs with his fabulous self.
