I need some help, everyone (for my daughter-PLEASE READ)

We took my daughter to the dentist the other day and it turns out she needs to get a ton of work done on her teeth (one cavity filled in and two baby root canals). My mom-in-law is only able to pay for a bit over half of the work done (around $700) and it's estimated to total about $1200 altogether.
She desperately needs this done but I have barely been making enough at my job lately to cover groceries & rent. I will be gathering/putting up the remainder of my Bemani stuff (controller + games) for sale, plus some assorted manga & other odds & ends to help cover costs. I'm willing to part with almost anything except my lappy to be able to pay to get this done.
I need all the help I can get, even if it's something as small as a journal link. Maybe one of your friends is looking for an artist to commission-perhaps you might be able to point them my way? *winknudge* ^^;;
Everyone who is willing to contribute *something* will at least get a flat-colored chibi from me as a thank you. I will be trying to do some DfD streams here & there over the next couple of weeks as well.

I will also stress that this is *NOT* an immediate emergency situation but it does need to be resolved as soon as possible. And before I start receiving any inquiries about how this situation got as bad as it is-I had the same tooth problems as my daughter when I was a toddler. It actually got bad enough for me that I had to have both my top central and lateral incisors pulled when I was about 5 and had to wear a retainer till my adult teeth came in.
It was horrible & I do *not* want her to go through the same thing I did. Thanks to those of you who read through all of this and I hope I'll be able to raise the money we need.

6th style is $35, HAPPY SKY is $65, GOLD is $55, controller is $45. Prices include shipping (5 for the games, 10 for the controller)
All the games are in very good condition-maybe a few light cosmetic scratches but everything still plays just fine. The controller is a bit cheaper since I filed the edges down on some of the keys so they would quit sticking. I will also deep clean every part of the controller before shipping it out.

You're very, very welcome, dear. I hope that everything will turn out alright and that you get the whole thing sorted out soon. And I hope your daughter won't need to have braces, either; my younger sister has needed extensive orthodontial work when she was a kid, so I know how much of a pain that is.
Dont you make your child brush her teeth? That's pretty severe outstanding dental work for that age. Unless she has some genetic condition that makes her enamel especially week, severe damage that require root canal treatments can be prevented by brushing and flossing at least twice every day. Do it for her if you see that she is not doing a good job. I bet you'd take fussing and whining any day over a $1200 bill.
And yes, children can and should floss.
For "normal" people terrible stuff doesn't really happen if you take good care of your teeth, at least not until your late 50's.. my kids teeth are fine, and I myself only have to go through dental work due to my own neglect.
Sorry to hear your kid isn't doing good, I hope she isn't in pain due to this.. I know getting an RTC is no walk in the park and I imagine as a child it is even worse.. traumatizing even. I you can, try to find a dentist who will anesthetize her for the root canals.. they take bout 1.5 hours each. I think it's much better than causing a fear of the dentist due to some lengthy and uncomfortable treatments. Of course it costs more, but it's better than havign her be scared of it and swear of visiting dental facilities until her teeth get to the point of hurting >.<
