PC wont boot, portable (Android) got drowned in heavy rain, internet seems intermittent, bank account is empty, and I have no way of playing music because my sound system stopped working. If I've asked for gifts, commissions, or anything like that, I'm going to have to put them off.
Good things are that my bike works, finally, and amazingly, since I rebuilt it myself, and the fridge is full.
I may be absent for some time. But then I haven't logged in here in a few weeks, and no-one's missed me, so I'm sure you can cope.

It's all good. It's far from the worst situation I've been in. Work's still paying the bills, despite the low bank balance, so I can still function.
I put Linux on the PC, and it works well, if a little short on art programs.

It's probably not much help. I was hoping there were some I might be familiar with that had a windows analogue. I don't have any experience with Linux though.
Best to remove things like SIM/MicroSD/SD/batteries/&c. first if possible.
I haven't yet, but I've been advised to try it, but not to use rubbing alcohol, which is blended with water, apparently.
