So I just got home from AC 2012 not too long ago. It was awesome, amazing, great, and even changed my life a little bit. An inspiring look into some of the better aspects of the furry fandom.

I arrived late Thursday and pretty much just regged and then puttered 'round until I went back to the room for some sleep. There was some shenanigans with the DoubleTree and room shuffling, but outside of losing my water bottle, it isn't important.

Friday is when I started derping around, bouncing from place to place, trying to meet up with people I knew. Ran into  Masakuni, saw a couple of other people I didn't know and wanted to talk to, but had no reason to! Signed up for a Tetris Attack tournament(more on that later), and finally met up with  NoelRicharte and  Stillman and then shit got real. Well, not that night at least, it was mostly just a blur of meeting people, playing Werewolf and Cards Against Humanity, and then going back to my room.

Saturday I got up and got my new badge ordered(made by the great ol'  buffaluffalo, I'll ask her permission to scan it in.) then went straight to  buckhopper's voice acting panel with Stillman, then had to practically run to the Tetris Attack tournament hosted by  IanKeith, snagged semifinals after a long, looong match against  Seppel (you're a good match dude!) and met up with  Charkonian <3. That night it was more Cards Against Humanity with Umbralfox, Kyden(sp?), Stillman, Noel, a fur named Punk(who makes the best fucking cosmopolitans I've ever tasted), and a bunch of other furs, most of which have names I forgot in my drunken haze. Sorry.

Sunday was more of the same, only with less sleep and more heat stroke. Finally snagged my badge after some delays, hung out with the group some more, managed to get some -really- bitchin' Werewolf games in with Noel's custom deck then went to play Cards Against Humanity. It ended when Kyden and I found out that, hey, putting two hyenas in the same hotel room to play a hilarious game sometimes ends in ludicrous feedback loops where both of you start laughing at each others' laughs and it escalates until it hurts.

Then I went home. Lot shorter of a write-up than I wanted, but it got the point across.(If I missed shouting you out, don't worry, you know who you are!)

As for the announcements, AC... Made me re-evaluate some things I've been doing, and make some decisions about myself.

I am no longer a dragon, and am closing this account: I'm just tired of this username, I've hated it for a long time thanks to the lack of a second 'r', and I've been less and less comfortable with being a dragon over the past year that I'm... Just gonna change. I figure in changing, I might as well try to clean up my act, stop being so angry, so hostile, so lazy, etc. Hanging out with legitimately awesome people shocked me out of the cynical funk I've been stuck in for a long time.
