WUT? NO, depends on your sensitivity, they advise you gauge every 6months though to be sure your ear has fully healed from stretching.
All ya need is a nice warm shower, vaseline or aloe and some tapers e3e Get them up to the size you want (12g-00g for ex) and get some gauges in the last size for when you reach it

Ah, well, like I said you can start whenever you feel comfortable, I've had my ears close whenever I left my gauge out for too long and started from scratch all over again :P

Depends on how big your earrings are now, you usually start off with 14g or 12g when you get your ears pierced, but, you don't start with tunnels you start with"regular" earrings just a bit thicker and when you reach 0-00g you can start using tunnels. from a scale of 1 to 10 how much more painful is it than that
(1 being the exact same)

shots hurt more i think so like a -1 to 1
especially tetanus and cancer jabs

it's just weird cause it's your ear and it feels hot

oh mine was for tetanus + diptheria and it hurt kind of a lot and i have muscle ache there even tho it was a few days ago

Yeah if you aren't careful it can be really dangerous and it stinks like hell bUT THEY'RE COOL.

O-oh wait I'm a faggot. It's called "Plug", not "Gauge". A gauge is a measurement.

However, it's a gradual and slow process.
You have to wait from six to eight weeks (one month) to let it heal. Once healed, you can stretch it up to 1 gauge. Don't skip sizes!

You should massage the lobe a bit with hot water, before stretching. Then, use lubrificants such as jojoba oil to help, any water-based lube will do.

You should only be using surgical steel tapers, glass or titanium for the stretching.
When you've reached the desired size, the recommended plugs are the ones made out of wood, bone or silicone, as they allow the skin to breathe. Don't use the spiral ones, as they are always used for after your ears have healed. DON'T use silicone plugs for the stretching. It sticks to your ear and you have to tear it out afterwards, which is not nice.


It's best for you to go to a professional piercer. They know their shit, and they'll give you better advises than everyone else. uUu

Yeah, you should use only surgical steel for the stretching. All of those materials I listed can be worn only after the hole healed.
And buy them from a piercer, not from Hot Topic or from the Internet, because most of the time they aren't even sterilized, but I'm guessing that you already know that, haha.
