Yeah, Journals. I haven't written one in ages, since I haven't really needed to. Had nothing to say! I've been working hard, mostly just coming on FA to check out my updates. But now, I'm back to being a bit more active on here... Anthrocon gave me a REAL boost... A BIG injection of furry enthusiasm.
So keep your eyes peeled for a new Sicarius fursuit after about 9 months or so... The designs have started and he's already looking VERY different...

In other news, you may well have guessed, I stopped making knives. Importing the rare wood has become FAR too expensive, and now that I'm working heavy shifts, I just don't have the time any more, so I'll be shutting down that account and moving any knife things into my scraps here for posterity.

Also, I mentioned Anthrocon, and I'd write a con report but it's mostly a blur of fur and fun for me. It was an AMAZING time. I spent most of it hanging out with  mushimagicsuits, running around in fursuit and generally having fun. It was nice to be able to get to Fernando's (renamed to Furryland Cafe) before it closed down, it'll be a shame to not have him there next time, but I'm sure he went out with a bang - I managed to pick up one of the Furryland Cafe dog bowls and shirts, so that was pretty awesome.
I got to see Bitter Lake finally, I've always been a fan of Qarrezel's fursuits since I first looked at a con video, so it was great to catch that. I also managed to watch Saryudon's performance, and I was more than a little impressed, seeing him in person doing that circus stuff in suit was something I'm really glad I didn't miss.
We managed to explore a bit of Pittsburgh, but nowhere near as much as I'd have liked, since we knew we were missing out on con stuff. So, next year I'll actually be heading to the Westin a good few days in advance, give me time for some good and proper sightseeing, try and get it out of my system. Strangely, I don't get to go sightseeing very often in Iceland, so when I travel next year, I intend to go sightseeing until I can barely walk... and THEN I can goof around at the con as much as possible.
I missed out on a lot of the dances this year... I'm a bit bummed about that, but next year will present another opportunity I'm sure.
And that was mostly my AC. Apart from helping out Mushi with her photoshoot of a bunch of the suits she'd made, and spending a LOT of time in tonic, that's more or less all I did.
And I'd do it all again in a heartbeat! Roll on 2013, and with any luck I'll be debuting the new suit there.
