The "Didn't Do AC" XXX Journal

Heh. Didn't go to AC! LOL But was uber-busy anyway.
The entire prior week was spent in semi-panic mode as my boss took the week off. Actually, he didn't return until Wednesday the 13th. So, for 10 business days, I did both his job AND mine running the entire scene. First few days were serious panic mode as I also have Mondays off now, so when I returned Tuesday I had TWO days of his work AND my work to suddenly catch up on.
Ugliness ensued.
But, finally, the weekend arrived.
I did 3 different events in one weekend, 2 charity events and a bit o' fun. Actually, ALL were fun - a BLAST, really - but one was "just for fun" while the other two should consistute as "work". ???
Friday night I did "Sling", its very first iteration, at Rockbar. It is a benefit and fundraiser for Leather Pride Night. I was one of two featured 'models' and did balls-to-floor raffles and other raunchy things for fun and profit ^_^ Highlight: the other model, a cute cub, was stripped naked except for boots, blindfolded, put in the sling...and had cake served off his belly! I, err, tongued him. Yeah, that's a good PC-friendly word to use. Both with and without the frosting ^_^ Wholesome fun for the entire family.
Saturday was Leather Pride Night proper, an auction fundraiser event to benefit several charities. Read about it here, http://leatherpridenight.org. I was a model, along with about 15 others, displaying the auction goods on stage for audience bidding. I got to model the rim seat, the custom woolen kilt (which I bought myself after the buyer took the certificate for custom sizing instead!), the neoprene hood and the metal stockade. Had a GREAT time and was proud and excited to help some good causes! Sly, a beautiful man of color from Onyx, grabbed my attentions that night. Frequently
Sunday was Folsom Street East. Had hella fun and stayed almost the entire day at the bar. Saw lots of friends, both new, from the Pride Night, and old, and made a few new ones too! (put up 2 pics on XTube of me at Folsom, http://www.xtube.com/community/prof.....user=dinosnake ... )
Maybe next year AC will be back on its normal schedule and it'll be easy for me to go. 2011's Ride from Hell Part 2, the 9-hour bike ride through thunderstorms just to get to Pittsburgh, kinda put me off trying again this year. No problem, the world has a balance - 2 weeks ago I spent TWELVE hours to ride just 300 miles through rain AND cold!
The universe has a sense of humorous irony, I tell you.

FurFright is more consistent that way - the largest majority of furs have a good time because it's 'just the right size'. And local, too, so you see lots of friends you know or easily make new ones.
Love ya and :hugs:!!
