I am a nervious sketcher, have been for most of my life. I hate having people look over my shoulder without asking.... and sometimes even if they do. There are reasons for that, some of them are old and some of them are the kind of thing all of us probibly deal with..... The unsolicited comment.

The kind ones are bad enough.... its an unfinished sketch, mind ya, and they are saying how nice it is even if they can't see what you are trying to draw yet. The helpful ones are worse, giving you suggestions and observations when all you want to do is get the form down and fill in the details later. The worst, of course, are the unkind ones... "Thats crap" is not helpful in the least..... and my favorite... "Oh GOD, its PORN" even if I am drawing something that is in no way what I would consider porn of any kind.

I do draw porn sometimes, but as anyone who looks at my gallery knows, I mostly do what I call 'charactor illustrations'.... usually RP charactors and game charactors doing what they do. They are almost always furries though and so, to some, it is ALWAYS porn.

I don't get it.
