Thanks to my very good friends, Jim and Carol Alves, I got picked up from LAX again, and I had a place to sleep. After the dust had settled, I had been rebooked for a flight home... in three days! So I don't fly out until Sunday night - providing that one doesn't break down also. It also goes via San Francisco, so I asked if I could do that leg two days sooner. After thinking about it a bit, they said yes, so now I have got an opportunity to visit  steamfox which I thought I would not have this trip. I'll be late getting back to work, but at least one good thing came out of this.
