Hospital Trip + Sick Capt. Jack :C

So if you didn't read the previous journal, I almost had to go to the hospital Thursday due to my job.
Well it finally happened today, again the heat exhaustion. I passed out at my job today, laid out flat on my back in the back of the store.
From the four different versions I've heard, none of this was handled the way it should have been. Granted yes, everyone was dying of heat. see previous journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3579788/
But it finally happened that I hit the floor this time. I remember sitting on a milk crate in the back, and my co-worker BLUE (we'll call him), put a bag of ice on the back of my neck. After this, everything gets fuzzy and my next clearest memory is walking out of our walk in fridge, shaking, and searching for my inhaler.
When asked what happened this is what the 4 people said (names changed to colors) - keep in mind I don't recall ANY of this happening.
BLUE (co-worker / "team member"): "You fell on your ass. RED told you to take a break but you didn't want to."
WHITE (co-worker / "team member"): "RED dragged you into the fridge to cool off."
NAVY (co-worker / "assistant manager"): "You were going to get up, and you fainted, then ended up down for the count. So RED moved you into the fridge to cool you down and left you there. Said she would check up on you in a half hour."
RED ("store manager"): "I told you to go on your break and go into the fridge and you didn't listen. So I picked you up off the floor, and walked with you into the fridge and sat you down and said I'll be back in 30 minutes, cool off!"
As to my knowledge, when something like this happens, even if the person regains consciousness, the police are to be notified to send out an ambulance. Even if the person doesn't have to go to the hospital. EMT's are supposed to come and check them out to make sure they are okay to continue working. When I became aware of being in the fridge, I was shivering so I took the cup of ice water (no clue how I got that), and walked out, looking for my inhaler because it was too cold in the fridge. Upon walking out I realized that no one had done any sort of what they were meant to do in that situation. 911 was not called, EMT's were not notified, and no accident report was filled out. So after this realization, I sat in the office and began texting my mate and two other co-workers on what I should do. After this, FINALLY after roughly 4-5days of no air conditioning, the repair guy shows up. Thinking the store would get cooler, I went back to work. Within an hour I began to have a serious headache and my stomach was queezy. So my mate called the store to tell me he was calling my mom, and coming to take me to the hospital. I told "RED" I was going to the hospital, and was asked "why?" - like that needed to be answered... Yes I was feeling better than before I fainted, but I still wanted to be checked out. So "RED" told me to clock out and I left for the hospital.
They checked my fluids / blood work / and other standard stuff (blood sugar / blood pressure / heart rate / temp.) I was fine by the time I got there, just still had a bad headache. They had wanted to do an EKG on my heart, but I have no insurance so instead they checked my vitals, and set me up with a follow up dr. appointment here in my town.
My co-workers are telling me to send this all to the corporate offices, some are telling me to find out how to make the store owner pay my bill. I really just want to move on...I'm so fed up with this job....
As for my beagle, "Captain Jack" (aka Jack), I'm really nervous. I came home today from all that, and he wasn't himself. Usually when people he knows comes through the door (especially my mom and I) he howls, jumps, wags his tail, and licks the hell out of us. When I walked in the door, he was sitting on my stairs, shaking. No tail wag, no happy twinkle to his eyes. Just a submissive look, and shaking. He didn't even move. When I went to go pet him, he just lowered his head and continued to shake. I went to go take him outside. Usually, he goes happily to the door, and will bark at you if you take too long. I had to nudge him off the stairs. When I have the leash, I pat my chest, and he'll jump up to get his leash put on. Didn't even look up at me. Normally when taken outside, he'll rip your arm off the minute the door is open. He slowly walked out, and just looked around. Usually he is the one walking you. :C I got him to jog a little bit down to the stop sign on my road, he did his business, and then just sat down whimpering. I tugged him a few times and he wouldn't budge. He was shaking again. So I went to go pick him up, and he immediately yelped / cried / howled, out loud. I tried this a few more times, all with the same result. So finally I just picked him up and walked him back to my house. When we go back inside, normally, he'll dance around until you take his leash off, then bark at you until he gets water and a treat. He walked straight to the couch and laid down, again shaking. So I went in the kitchen and opened up his bag of chewey bones, (usually just the sound of the cabinet opening, gets him right by your side). nothing. I brought it too him (usually he'll almost take your hand off for ANY type of food), NOTHING. He wouldn't even look at it. :C My mom said he's been like this all day.... I was crying holding him downstairs. I don't know what to do....

And as for Jack, I'm sorry to hear that he's not feeling well. :c
I would keep a really good eye on him, just to make sure he's drinking and atleast trying to eat. If they're drinking they can probably fight off what ever they have. But since you say he's been yelping and stuff I would try and take him to the vet whenever I could, although I do understand that the vet can be SUPER EXPENSIVE. x.x Cali was doing that for a little bit the other day but she had gotten stung by a bee earlier in the day. One thing you could do is check him out while you're loving on him is check out his joints and stuff, move his ankles and other joints around and see if any of that bothers him so you at least know something. But I do hope he starts to feel better soon, I know how it is when your fur babies aren't feelin' good. :c
As for Jack, I sure hope he gets better, if not soon, or seems likes its getting worse you should take him to the vet.
Take care girly
