It's a first, and it never crossed my mind that such a thing could be unwelcome. Now I feel like a creepy jerk :(

No, you see... I'm pretty sure you aren't the ass here so long as you didn't do anything to provoke them.I'd even venture as far as to say that whoever this person is, they didn't deserve to be watched regardless.
