Why didn't they do this in the first place? Made me well up with tears in my eyes, a much better send off to a fantastic series and reinvigorated my interest in the universe.
Also did you notice in the Destroy ending they don't put Shepard's name up on the dead board, he/she definitely survives!

We just have to wait for an inevitable sequel to see what happens.
I mean seriously, that bit in Control with Shepbringer floating by the Citadel is great. Oh how the tables have turned on "ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL" there, lovely irony.
Basically adds more closure to the end of Commander Shepards story.
