New-Age Renaissance of Animation?
This has been stewing inside my mind for quite sometime now and I want to jot this down. Over these past few years a lot of new and excellent cartoons and animation have popped up. Not just MLP : FiM. Adventure Time looks and feels well enough for the kids. Regular Show, aimed higher on the age chain. Legend of Korra keeps the beat Last Airbender had started in the Avatar series. And my latest favorite, Motorcity on DisneyXD.
What I'm on about is... Is this a grand new decade for animation as a whole? Have the kids of the 90s, 80s, and all previous generations fueled the close-to-empty tank of imagination in the animation industry today? Are these shows a sign of what is yet to come? "The Tip of the Iceberg"? More importantly... WILL all these shows, the efforts of our generations, leave a positive impact and inspire this current generation of kids like the shows we loved and cherished did to us?

Another show I greatly enjoy is The Wonderful World of Gumball for sheer amount of creativity, colorful characters in both design and personality and how down to earth and genuine the show can be despite how far out the world is. I also like how oddly nostalgic it can be concerning the times of youth.
