Feral or anthro? + PRIDE
Just a quick question about my auctions: Do you guys prefer feral, or anthro? I know I've built up a good following of feral-lovers, since that's what I mostly draw, but I'd like to add a bit of diversity by including some anthro auctions as well. However, I couldn't help but notice that my recent feral auction received MUCH more attention than the anthro one. :/ Granted, the feral pic had quite a bit of naughty wolf-on-wolf action, whereas the anthro pic was just a single character fapping, but... eh. What I'm wondering is, would you guys prefer if I post more feral auctions than anthro?
Speaking of my auctions, I touched up the lineart of the feral pic (mostly adjusted the perspective and refined the sketchiness of the lines) and I'm now starting on coloring.

Did anyone notice that "PRIDE" picture that Oreo posted to its Facebook page, which featured a giant sextuple-stacked cookie with a rainbow-colored cream filling? Although it looked goddamn delicious, it attracted quite a bit of negative attention. :/ A bunch of the comments were about how homosexuality is wrong and people are going to boycott Oreos for supporting something so horrible.
Here's an article about it: http://www.upworthy.com/bigots-are-.....&c=bl3
Now, don't get me wrong -- I'm not one of those people that goes "Oh em gee, I'm homosexual and this is downright discrimination! BUTTHURT BUTTHURT BUTTHURT." In fact, even if I were straight, I'd be appalled by some of the comments that people posted on that picture. The whole situation reminds me why I've lost all faith in humanity. People are boycotting COOKIES because they can't overcome their prejudice toward other people's sexual preferences. -__- I mean... seriously?!
People need to understand that, regardless of whether their religion condemns homosexuality, they think it's unnatural, or they oppose homosexuality for some other reason... it's none of their goddamn business. It astounds me that so many people are arrogant enough to believe they have the right to judge other people's sexual preferences. "God says homosexuality is a sin!" Oh, and remind me who appointed you the spokesperson for God? And why would that make it any of your business anyways? I swear, it's like these people think that they're being personally wronged every time two individuals of the same sex fuck. I'm all for individual rights -- I believe people should be able to practice whatever they please as long as it's not causing harm to someone else or taking away their rights. That's why I'm perfectly happy being a gay furry; no matter what any bigoted douchebag has to say about it, I have the right to be what I want to be and I'm not wronging anyone by doing so. And anyone who thinks otherwise can go shove a cactus up their left nostril. :3
Kudos to Oreo for standing up for love and equality. It's just a shame that so many people can't see past illogical prejudice and blind religious ideals.
TL;DR: People are dicks. Comments?

FA+

The second topic reminds me of something similar except in the opposite fashion happening here in Australia.
Gloria jeans (a popular coffee franchise in Australia) has been exposed that they have been donating funding towards The Australian Christian Lobby who have spent the overwhelming majority of their time attacking marriage equality and promoting "gay curing" programmes. Because of this homosexual and other people who support marriage equality are boycotting the coffee shops. Personally instead of boycotting a coffee shop how about enlightening the Australian Christian Lobby about the prejudice things they are doing.
TL;DR: Draw what you want. I agree people can be dicks.
I understand the premise of boycotting, but in the end, it's really not going to be effective. *shrugs* Enlightening the lobby about the actions won't do anything either because they're probably too absorbed in their self-righteousness to be convinced that they're in the wrong. As much as I hate to say it, this kind of prejudice will exist even if homosexuality stops being so controversial. It's sad that people still view homosexuality as a disease, or some problem that needs to be eradicated from the earth. I wish they'd mind their own business and let people do what they want, as long as it's not harming anyone else. :/
A new recent trend I've noticed around FA is mixing anthros with ferals, which is pretty cool. c:
Picture looks fantastically hawt btw~
Woohoo, the lines look great!! x3 I can't wait for the color!! :D
And about the Oreo thing... that's terrible. :/ I can't believe there are still that many haters. I also agree that if someone doesn't like something, there's no reason to protest against people. They should just keep their mouths shut and move on. But nope, they won't, 'cause they're assholes. ><
I'm straight and I definitely think they're wrong. I like to imagine sometimes how great the world would be if everyone just accepted people for who they are.
Eh, there will always be haters because there will always be intolerance. :/ Everyone thinks that everyone else's business is their business. People think they're being righteous by telling you what you should and shouldn't do, and they think they get bonus points if it's for religious reasons -- "Homosexuality is a sin!" But in the end, it's your life, not theirs. x3 That's why I don't listen when people preach to me about these supposedly "sinful" things, because it's not their responsibility what I do with my life or my body.
And yep, exactly. :<
feral x anthro is also a plus
But seriously, homophobes can go die in a fire.
I'd totally get a smutty anthro piece of Silver from you, but I don't have any money to spend D:
Aww, too bad. x3 I may open a few regular commissions soon too, so let me know if you're interested sometime. I'd love to draw Silver for ya. :3
I would love to have some smutty Silver art...turns out I just got a job, too, though only part time. :3
Ooh, sweet! :3 I should have a couple auctions posted within the next week or two if you're interested.
But yes, you're right--no real reason it should be illegal. :B
I agree pretty much agree with everything you said though.
