Pretty much just they. I don't think I've ever used any other, especially not hir (is that really a thing? I didn't know until now, and there'd be no real easy way to use that in spoken conversation anyway).

I think 'hir' is pronounced the same as 'here'.

I second the notion that they sound silly. I prefer to use whichever pronoun fits their dominant gender.

For example, if there is a herm character; but they act more motherly, I'd tend to use 'her' and 'she'.

For plurals nouns, in my head I give anyone the plural female now. So "girls," "sisters," etc. but because it's not socially acceptable and I'm sick of inadevertantly prodding people to think about why that makes a lot of people uncomfortable (despite the fact that male plurals don't tend to), I manually change it to "everyone" or "all of you" or "y'all" or them. For a person I'm not speaking to, it's "that person." If they strong identify with one or the other dipole of gender, then I use she or he. "hir," "hes", "hx," etc. are not catching on as well because people are used to stratifying gender in to two categories, and the combinations themselves end up being inherently sexist (ex. hir is more commonly used and heard that hes, so the male first notation is still more common). Gender stratification is the same reason that many people ask themselves, when unsure of gender, "is that a girl or a guy," rather than, "I wonder of that person identifies with either," versus my favourite, "hey look it's a person! A Lolita? A furry? An artist? A scientist? I wonder who they are?" I have super runaway thoughts, hehe. I'm not a fan of "they" as a singular noun because it is grammatically incorrect. Travis once told me that he uses the male words because they are quicker. Though true in several cases, if people honestly gave a damn, they'd change. I'm only 21, but I'm fairly bitter, having given up on seeing that sort or dynamic change in my lifetime.

Also, "cutie" is pretty gender neutral to me, but only supreme humans get that, as with "adorable."

Example: "bliz, tai, and taru are cuties."

This was all interesting to think about! I think I heard that singular 'they' actually IS grammatically correct, though? It's unfortunate to hear you've gotten sick of prodding people about how female plurals shouldn't be uncomfortable since male plurals aren't...I would not mind at all if I was in a group and someone said "hey girls" or something, and I think it would be good if more people thought that way. I say "Hi guys" more than I should honestly.

There are many groups of all males or of a mix of females and males in which annoyance on the part of the males for addressing them as "hey girls" is socially acceptable, whereas annoyance on the part of females for addressing them as "hey guys" isn't

Our society tried to equalize females by bringing them up to the male standard, rather than settin a new truly equal level.
