My Equalizer was brutally assaulted today.. MY EQUALIZER
As a soldier, he was my best friend..
I remember.. happily playing with him like I normally would.. We would run fast and bust heads together, all in all having an amazing time.. when all of a sudden, time seemed to freeze and I watched in horror as my equalizer split into two. Not two halves, but it was like another pickaxe came out of the original one. It was painful to watch and I'm sure it was painful for him too as he started bleeding from the sharp points.
Time started again and I picked up the two pickaxes.. nothing seemed different. The one in my left hand was my equalizer, I could tell from the blood dripping from it. In my Right hand I held a clean pickaxe with a name tag on it that read, Escape plan. It wasnt until dropped one (after the administrator forced me to over the intercom) that I felt a difference. If I dropped the Escape plan, I could still feel the extra strength inside me for whenever I needed it, but felt as slow and cumbersome as I would if I took my Shovel into battle.
I then picked up the Escape Plan, dropped the equalizer and felt I could Run as fast as I could with the equalizer.. but without all the strength that the Equalizer gives me, it would be more suitable for running Away from danger. I dont want to run away from danger like a hippy frenchman, I want to charge into battle till the end!
I dominated many a Demoman 3 goddamn years ago for this!?
