Today someone came knocking on my door. Turns out it was the neighbors.

Evicting me in 30 days.

As it stands, the building (a ramshackle cobbled together heap that nonetheless has provided a roof for the last seven years) I reside in sits astride two different pieces of property, neither of them my own.
Unfortunately those landowners want to refinance their properties for whatever reason, but the banks are blocking any attempt to do so (since the housing crash they've gotten right anal about financing) because of this... building... sitting there.

So their best choice is to remove the building, despite the fact I happen to be living in it. But not for any longer. Unfortunate for me, but doubly so for the wolves I took in some years ago. There's no where to send them. Without heroic measures the only recourse is euthanasia, which itself is not a cheap prospect by any means for 7 animals.

So, suddenly desperate, I looked up that charity site that helped the bullied old lady (no, I doubt I'll be so fortunate) and started my own desperate measure... not for nearly long enough, all things as they are, but at least I'll try.
