First and foremost, apologize to the customer, nodding in his/her direction and always maintaining eye contact. This shows that you have empathy. After they have told you about the problem, repeat in back to them...So Maam, just so I understand this correctly, the nature of the problem is this, this and this; Do I have everything covered?" You will get an answer int he affirmative. Then you offer solutions to the problem as allowed by management. If none of these are acceptable, you ask the customer for his her email and telephone and that you will pass it along to management. Then follow up with management to assure that the problem was resolved. You can always call the customer back a few days later just to check. You will have a customer for life ^-^

Best of luck. Knock them dead. Smile, look into the eye's of the interviewer and don't answer questions too quickly. Show them you are giving their questions some thought, then go for the kill. At the end of the interview, go for the close with something like, so, when do I start?

Thank you my friend. I spent two weeks playing phone tag for this interview. Spent time studying possible answers to tech questions I might be asked and all they want to know is the generic questions. You know those trick questions where they want you to say something negitive about your job but of course you cant say anything negitive. Kind of wish I could have a interview where Im just asked questions about the job Im trying for and not have my personality weighted and measured.

So, its well after 4pm. You may be at work but I'm anxious to see how the interview went :3

Im not sure what to think as I studied for possible tech questions I might be asked and did not get a single tech question. I felt the person interviewing me did not want to be doing interviews and it seemed he cut it short...So Im not sure if thats a good or bad sign.

Pull them over the counter, beat their ass, then tell them to get the hell out of the store and never come back.
