The first journal post here in over three years, oh my! Anyway...
I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and some introspection, on top of actually drawing again to boot!
This all came about after looking over some of my older comics and art and realizing that I didn't really like what I had done. For instance, the comics...reading them now I think they're completely hamfisted and not even all that funny. Like I was trying to be offensive just for the sake of being offensive...that's not to say there's no place for over-the-top humor...I just find it rather boorish now. That and drawing really stopped being fun for me...so you can see how forced everything was. In the end, everything just felt like work...but recently, after coming back to this site and looking at other artist and their work. I've been inspired again. Looking at how far folks like WolfYama have come and stumbling across other talented folks like clup, hottapwater, Fvorte, or RayFkm (and many others to be sure!)...my love of furry doodles have been rekindled a bit.
Does this introspection mean I'll start posting stuff again? May be, I dunno yet...but that fact that I felt compelled to type all of this out really means that I feel like I can make a fresh start. Perhaps move everything I have here to scraps and start things back up. Who knows...I still have full-time work and school to deal with so I can't make any promises at this point, but I am hopeful and look forward to being all 'artsy' again.

Aw dude, I've looked at my stuff back then and it's really terrible too, haha. But since then, I decided to make art/animation a career, so I've been doing lots of it. I've still got a long ways to go though, but every drawing you do adds up!!

Thanks for the comment and your art really is awesome and I'm glad to hear that you're making a career out of it. No doubt in my mind that you'll go far...as for myself, the art stuff is a hobby but, I still love to do it. Not trying to improve so much as to try and re-inject myself back into this furry stuff I guess.
