lol, thanks. I just was browsing through the comments over there, and could not believe the stupidity & hypocrisy I was seeing in that journal. It was just really a 'Whut? You're....you're kidding me, right?' moment.

Which only furthers my belief that us acting like there's this separation between us and 'Bronies' is stupid as hell. We all like anthro'd creatures, we all like cartoons, friends, games...so, WHY are we attacking each other? This is dumb.

couple of reasons for attacks, deep down they know they are the same so they attack the mildly other group as different to make themselves feel better in the "well at least i`m not XXXXX " On a broader idea other then different branches of the nerd tree fighting each other is the wiring in the human brain that makes people want to form small groups.Once things get too big people look for differences to separate others from them to make themselves feel more comfortable.Our minds cant process truly the numbers of millions or billions.So we try to keep groups in the hundreds or thousands at most.

Don't really give a damn about MLP in general, it's just a
kids/family cartoon targeted for youth audiences and parents.
What I actually hate are these so-called "Bronies" that really
go WAAAAAYYYYYY overboard with their "Obsession", and
end up spreading their sadistically childish behavior to
the far corners of the earth and every little bit of cyber space.
I haven't even gotten a chance to try the cartoon for myself,
then these delusional people come by, then I become sickened
because of the absurdity of how they overreact to just about anything.

In short: the artwork/existent of MLP is fine, bronies just made it bad.

I'm not going to lump ALL bronies into the same group, as some of them aren't so pushy with it, but yes, it can be annoying.

But that said, Furries acting the way they do in return isn't helping either, especially when we're no more innocent than those horse lovers. X3

I like the cartoon and I like the characters, and everyone else is entitled to do their own thing about it, I guess. It's just one of those things were I just look at them, go "Eh, whatever." then backstab them in TF2. X3

Because there's this massive idea that Brony =/= Furry. I've seen it on both sides, which is one of the silliest, dumbest things...and now that there are 'sides', there are fights. Which is even dumber.

I've never thought that bronies were not furries. Furries are fans of anthropomorphic characters. Bronies are fans of anthropomorphic ponies. No different. Also, I saw plenty of people at both AC and BronyCon, and BronyCon was just like any other furry con, just a bit less well prepared. And when I was suiting at BronyCon and people asked, I said to them what I said to you, and they all agreed.

Well, I'm glad there's at least a few folks with some common sense in their heads out there.

Until now, I was unaware there were any who believed otherwise.

Yeeeah, there's Bronies who get made if you call them furries; and there's furries who criticize and seemingly attack the bronies for being 'stupid and goobey'.

Ya know, stuff that people attack furries for being. :P

How odd... Luckily, the atmosphere at BronyCon was all hugs and friendship. They all loved hugging the big cat. The fires of friendship burned a bit too bright on Sunday morning, though... A light caught on fire and we had to wait outside while the fire department came and took care of it. X.X

I kept seeing the argument about a kids show, but like you said, furries have done the same thing with kid's shows. So that argument doesn't hold water. And I figure at this point, they probably have figured it out, they just don't want to accept it.

And I'm honestly surprised there haven't been more games using SatAM characters at this point, since you mentioned it.

Yeah, who knows what the Sat AM thing is about? The only game any of those characters appear in is Spinball...and it seems that's a pretty hated game. :C I always liked it.

I might check that out. I didn't know it was that hated.

General reaction is kind of 'this isn't that good'. I think because it came out of Sega of America, rather than Sega of Japan.

And if you're checking it out to just see the Sat AM crew, it's disappointing in that regard. You only get to see them from one of the mini-games. :|

The bronies who were never furries in the first place find themselves fapping to cartoon ponies. They get freaked out, thinking they'll be lumped into the furry category and go apeshit. And the fact that it's a show that is "aimed at girls" is another thing. When the show is actually aimed for a large demographic.

I was in a local Brony group on FB not too long ago, and I had to quit the group. They were getting way to obsessed and reading way too much into the damn show for me to care. It was kinda creepy. They kept complaining about how there were no male ponies to pair up with the mane six, even though the show is chock full of male ponies (there's even a huge list on a wiki somewhere), and when I mentioned that they all went apeshit about how they "didn't have developed personalities" like it fucking matters. They even disregarded my suggestion of just pairing them with OCs. Ended up flipping my keyboard and saying "adios, fuckers"

It's good to be interested in whatever you want, but when you go to far over something as simple as ponies, then people start thinking you're all loons.

I think the best part about the entire argument is the part about Bronycon. It literally is a G rated convention for people of all ages, not just a meeting ground for adult males to congregate and fap to pony porn. Yet some furries find that strange while attending furry conventions filled with adults who fap to cartoon animals?

This entire debate is hilarious and useless.

As a fan of the original 80's show, Friendship is Magic, and silly cartoon animals; They're all fucking crazy fighting over this.
