I love genres.
I love labels.
I used to be that "labels are for soup cans nyeh" kid, but now oh jeez
labels labels labels
Not that I think everything should be textbook and neatly fit into little categories. Things should be described by labels, not governed by them. things should be the reason we have labels and not the other way around.
I love labeling genres and styles and such.
like movie genres. like cyberpunk. years from now you'll see my dvd or blu-ray or fuckin holocube collection and it'll be broken down into categories. cyberpunk section. steampunk section. hot-blooded action section. bloody slasher film section.

I think I immediately categorize things in my own way. Like, I just saw The Amazing Spider-Man, and I stick that in the superhero movie category. Some things fit in multiple categories. The Matrix: Cyberpunk and HyperAction
