Sculpture commission info and policy

Basic information:
Before contacting me about a commission carefully read the pricing and policy information, and keep in mind that lots of time and material (costs) go into sculpting so i cant afford to sell them cheaply.
I will only work on 1 or 2 commissions at a time but will maintain a reserving list, when your on that list i will contact you when i'm ready to start on the commission.
Before i will start sculpting your commission i will make a sketch first send this to the commissioner and when approved i will ask for a deposit (which will be half of the total sum) i will not start on the commission untill i received the deposit.
I will keep the commissioner updated with lots of work in progress photos and the commissioner has freedom to ask for changes (note that when a sculpture has progressed to far the changes cant be to radical anymore (especially after baking)
So to make the progress go smoothly think over carefully what you want your sculpture to look like (pose/color etc.) the earlier you come with changes the better, as i wont accept a pose change when i am halfway trough sculpting for example.
My estimated work time on a sculpture is between the 4 and 10 weeks, (depends on size and complexity of the piece and how much free time i've got as i'm working a full time job and have a household to run) so if commissioning me be patient, i will however try to keep you informed with updates as often i can.
I will not guarantee deadlines as i prefer to deliver quality and not half baked rushed works, so do not rush me. there may be situations which require a deadline (such as BD presents etc) in this case a deadline is discussable if reasonable time is given (i at least need 3 weeks tops!)and i will try my best to get the order done in time.
Prices:
I measure my sculptures by body length chest to bum (so not including head/legs/tails/wings/hight) and specify my pricing upon sizes.
(Note that currency values keep changing i just put the USD prices next to it to give commissioners who pay with USD a idea how much my commissions cost, but when ordering commissions i will check before hand the exact USD currency value at that time so keep in mind that the value Changes and it might be a good idea that when you pay with USD and plan to commission me to check this yourself beforehand (applies for my flat art commissions aswell)
Just my euro prices are set prices.
Shipping prices are NOT included these are extra costs so keep this in mind!
Average size prices:
3 inch/7.6 cm: 190 euro
4 inch/10cm : 210 euro
5 inch/12.7 cm: 260 euro
6 inch 15 cm: 300 euro
These are base prices for humanoid and animal/fantasy sculptures included with insert eyes (usually resin handmade eyes) and primer coating/painting/glazing.
Extra Charges:
*Hair/fur (real hair ,mohair/lamb hair)
Neck/mane +tail: 20 euro
Leg feathering: 10 euro (all legs included up till 4)
Any other additional places (goatees/ butt fluff etc) 5 euro
Heavy body furring/big area covering (such as entirely covered neck or great coverage on back or belly carefully and naturally applied): 30 euro
Complete body covering/flocking: N/A yet (maybe in the future)
*Sculpted wings:
30 euro average size (3 inch-5 inch)
50 euro large size (6-7 inch)
*Fantasy film wings: (including decorations/additional painting)
Smal-average sized (3-5 inch: 20euro
Large sized (6-7 inch): 40 euro
*Fantasy film fins and others:
20 euro
*Sculpted tack jewelry: (including insert stones)
12 euro
*fabric/leather/wired removable tack and jewelry:
20 euro and up (prices will vary by complexity and materials needed, just explain your idea and based on these specifics i calculate a price.)
*Complex and highly detailed painting (only for difficult designs and patterns as panther spots and very complex and precise painting work (roaning and little hairs etc)

Casted resin unicorn horns: (Prices on these are calculated by materials needed for mold making and casting materials)
Small (2-3 inch and smaller) : 10 euro
Average (4 inch): 15 euro
* Two orders at once or 2 characters in one piece price rules:
-If you order 2 loose sculptures at the same time then for the second sculpture/order all pricing rules are the same but will have a 20% reduction in it's total price + i wont charge shipping costs for the second sculpture ONLY (So do note that these rules DON'T apply for the first order (ONLY FOR THE SECOND AND ONLY WHEN ORDERED TOGETHER WITH THE FIRST SCULPTURE, wont apply if you order another sculpture a while after you ordered the first one) or if you order just one sculpture!)
-When you want a single piece which features 2 characters together the second character will cost 70% of the price extra of an single character sculpt.
*Bases:
Prices for these are based on size and complexity, basic simple base price starts at 30 euro and up, just explain your idea and based on these specifics i calculate a price.
*Complex designs such as excessive and additional horns /accessories / extra limbs are priced upon request (usually for highly detailed pieces that require even more time and/or more material use) just explain your idea and based on these specifics i calculate a price.
I will let you know the total of the price of your commissioned piece before you pay your deposit and commit to order the commission, if your unsure if what you want could cost extra then note or email me and i will answer to your questions.
If you have committed to commissioning me and i have progressed far enough and you all of a sudden decide you want something added like wings/horns/hair etc let me know and i will add the costs to the final payment.
Even when you do not feel like commissioning me feel free to ask me questions by note and i will do my best to answer them :3
*Shipping:
I live in the Netherlands and will send my packages by postnl as they are the largest posting service in our country, they have a max weight of 30 kg within the europe region and a max of 20 kg outside the eu region.
estimated sending time within the eu is within 5 working days, outside the eu between the 5-10 working days (depends on which country the package has to go.
If you live in The Netherlands you don't have to pay for shipping costs i will mail your order to you for free as sending within the NL hardly costs anything, it's possible for you to collect your order from my house if preferred.

* I wont gauge on shipping or charge for handling fees. If it occurs that my quote is less then the actual shipping cost i pay for the difference, and if my quote was higher i will refund the difference to you.
* I will need your full name, address and phone number to ship the sculpture to you.
*Shipping damage:
I do my best to pack the sculpture as secure as possible for shipping and cant ultimatly be responsible for damage or loss. But if a sculpture arrives damaged i will work with you and can offer one of the following possibilities to your preferance and the extend of the damage:
-you can send the sculpture back for me to fix (i will cover the shipping cost)
-I can give you a partial refund of 40%
-If you want to fix it yourself i could send you the needed materials along and advise if needed.
Policy terms:
*Ordering a commission:
When ordering a commission, please take a carefull look at my pricing guidelines, then if your really serious about buying a commission send me a email at jenniferwouterse[at]hotmail.com or Note me here on DA with the information and details about your commission. I will replay to you and give you the estimated total price of what your commission would cost, at this point you havent committed in ordering a commission from me so your still free to cancel the commission, if however your fine with the price and want to buy the commission i will reserve a slot for you on my waiting list ( i will keep an waiting list here on DA so you can check the status) whenever i'm ready to start your commission i will contact you via email or note and will ask if you still want to commit to buy he commission, if you are i will send you a sketch and if you approve with the idea and want me to start sculpting i will ask for a first payment (deposit) which will be the 1st half of the total sum of your commission, once i received the deposit i will start sculpting and keep you updated trough the entire progress, once the sculpture is finished i will send you photo's and will ask for the final payment (the other half of the total sum) I will NOT ship the sculpture untill i received the full payment (including shipment fee).
*Payment policy:
Before i start on anything i require a deposit which is 50% of the total sum (not included the shipment costs)
The deposit is Not refundable, unless for some reason i will not be able to finnish your order. (illness or radical life change etc) if such thing occurs i will contact you and refund the money you've payed me.
*WIP's and revision:
Before i start i send you a sketch based on your idea or if you prefer to give me complete freedom one based on my idea and wait for your approval. During the process i will send you photo's to give you opportunity to make changes/alterations and to keep you updated. You are free to request changes and alterations during any stage of the progress, tho the earlier you mention them the better it is for a faster and smoother progress of the sculpture, also in earlier stages it's easier to fix mistakes.
- However i will not make major changes when halfway trough you've suddenly changed your mind (changes like radical change of pose ex. standing to running/rearing etc) or complete species/breed change.....)
Accceptable revisions means: fixing anatomical flaws, slight repositioning of limbs/neck/tail etc, flaws in markings/colors.
Changes like adding extra additions halfway trough will come with extra costs (such as you decide you want your sculpture to have wings or fins etc while this wasnt planned in the original commission)
Check the list above of the extra costs to see the prices for these.
*Final Payment: I ACCEPT PAYPAL TRANSFER ONLY!
When i have completed your piece (sculpting/baking,painting,decorating etc) i will send you some photos of the final result for your approval, at this point i will ask for the final payment ( the other half of the total sum and shipping costs) After received the payment it will take me about a week to get package supplies and safely package up your order for shipping. If there are any delays from my side i will notify you.
I will NOT ship the sculpture to you until i received the full payment!
- it is discussable to pay in parts (both for deposit and finalpayment < last half and shipping costs) if you cant pay the total amount at once.
-I will only accept paypal transactions with exception if you live in the same country (The Netherlands) then i will accept bank transaction.
-do not send the payments you do by paypal as gifts or any other fee free payment methods, paypal needs to make money too and they do this by receiving fee's of each transaction, not paying fees could result in account close down and i dont want that to happen as you can imagine so bare this in mind!
-If i dont receive the final shipment within 3 months after completing your order you forfeit your deposit and grant me the right to keep/sell the sculpture and/or to alter it. I will send you only one reminder to pay before the 3 month deadline!
-Once you've payed the full sum the sculpture is yours and you can do with it what you want except for reproducing! Your free to repost photos of your commission on the internet but do credit me in the submission description as the original creator by linking back to my post or gallery.
*Cancellations:
-If for any reason you wish to cancel the commission, you may do so at any time, but keep in mind that by doing so i will keep 60% of the deposit you've payed for the time i spend/wasted on your commission and thus will only refund 40% of your payed deposit, and the sculpture remains my property as you give me the right to alter and resell the sculpture.
-If for any reason i have to cancel the commission and deposit was payed i will refund the deposit payment.
*Additional policies:
-I have the right to refuse a commission under any reason, refusal will occur before any payment was made.
-I am comfortable with any animal species/breeds,humanoid characters, ferral/anthoro/fantasy character, violence/gore/nudity.
-I am not doing anything porno related! I don't mind nudity aslong as it is from an artistic point of view.
-I will not make pieces of trademarked characters unless you got evidence approval of the owner.
-I do not chase ppl for payments, i only send one reminder and if payments havent been made within 3 months after completion the sculpture remains mine to do with as i please as will i keep 60% of the deposit.
*On a last note, keep in mind that these sculptures are objects of art and therefore are not suitable to be used as toys as they could break and/or damaged.
