I finally grew a pair and nuked my 33k waiting submissions stretching back to 2008.
I'm sure that there are plenty of people who get that number when they go on a week's vacation, but it still amuses me. Sooo many deleted submissions.. it makes me wonder how many dead profiles I'm following.
Ordinarily this kind of thing probably isn't post-worthy, but I needed both a journal refresh, and I found this kind of cute:
The "Nuke all submissions" feature can only remove 3000 notifications at a time.
Press "Refresh" or F5 to remove the next 3000 notifications.
Submission notifications remaining: 29951
Oldest first, too, it would seem. It feels like archeology, stopping every few nukes to extract.. uhh.. 'samples'.

I held it off for a while, but.. realistically given my FA habits, personally I know I'd never make it through. Finally comfortable with it~
Just as an experiment I'm going to try to see what it's like to actually keep on top of things for a while. Even today had kind of a pleasant surprise that you wouldn't see on 621.
