Hey I know a lot of fursuit makers buy and sell to and from each other, and that's great!
But I just want to put out there that I do not buy any premade parts from anyone else (unless you count eyeblanks I suppose lol). I do not because:
1) I Prefer to keep the control with myself over sizes and shapes and colours of what I make. I always have since the beginning so it is what I am used to. and
2) I would get tired of having to cite someone else in every photo heh.
There is value in outsourcing and having someone else make something rather than make it yourself. less materials. Less time. A different artistic style or skill. Just much easier when you run a business. I am in no way devaluing people who chose to do this and I would be among them if I wasn't so particular lol. I do look at new things but usually they just do not fit my needs.
So everything I show off (unless it specifically says otherwise), I designed and sculpted and cast and sewed with my own two hands ^^ it is just what I prefer to do so it makes me sad to ever hear that my work might be credited to someone else.
So summarize, I am not saying one method is better or worse as I have no opinion on that, but just that everything you see from ME was made by ME and I want the credit for this effort heh.
Just wanted to clear that up. Thanks for listening!

Kudos for being completely one of a kind :)
As there are some things that i could make but the process time is beyond my limitations /
Is great that you can make all your parts though ^^ won't argue with that
I absolutely LOVE to make stuff, experiment and learn cool new things.
I've been tempted to buy some pree made stuff, but then I think "where is the fun in that?"
It's nice to have complete control over the sizes of different parts, and you never have to worry about things going out of production ;D
I used to get by w/out buying parts but I much prefer silicone paw pads and plastic claws over the ones I make on my own.
I have kinda sorta customized what I get though, I did not like Dream Vision Creation's feline pads much at all, round fingers and smooth texture (with the results reminding me of taffy) so I ordered a custom set (what are now her big cat paws)
The bear pads I got from her (awhile back, she no longer offers them) were actually custom made off of a tracing if did of what size and shape I wanted the pads.
anyway those instances are like a real win-win, a collaboration vs a straight forward purchase :)
So, meh, I am one of those who likes knowing I am supporting someone else in my same line of work and I am very used to adapting things into my work (like plastic horns from Halloween stores) so I adapt easy to using premade parts made by other people *nods
(hell if you'd be up to selling a set of feet pads like you used on the panda I'd be game depending on the cost, lol)
There will always be someone who takes something badly but.. oh well! Can't please everyone XD
Its good you clarified so people know how your work is created - keep up the awesome work!
