Ok well I don't think its "unforgivable". I think you should maybe post an apology letter and rework your FA site into a Tribute Site to the real Rendir.

dude it was an honest mistake :P ^^ dont worry i did the Same trying to Pose as one of my Favorite DJ's a few years back, lol mistakes are made when you have an obsession with someone elses work, i will be contacting the real Rendir ^^ no worries. just relax alright

The important thing is, you apologized. I do appreciate the true Rendir's art, but if you simply take everything off and leave a journal apologizing, I'm sure I'd forgive you.
The thing is, I only hate art thiefs if they don't own up before they were caught. You did, and I find that commendable. So, in light of all this, I forgive you. (So now you can't say it's unforgivable.)

Ya we have all done stupid things. What I find most interesting (assuming its all true), is that he didn't claim the art was his, he claimed he was that person then posted the art. Sounds like very dedicated fan, just kinda odd really, which is why I don't necessarily believe all if it.

Purely out of curiosity, would you happen to have the link to Rendir's work?

To tell you the truth, I'm not entirely surprised to hear this. Usually people who post stuff of this caliber are interested in explaining the way they create the artwork, how long did it take for them to create it and whether they have the copyright to the models and textures they use or whether they were created by someone else.

My advice is that you delete everything in your gallery since you do not have the rights to any of this stuff.

I think it is noble that you want to bring such great works to everyone's attention but your methods are seriously wrong and could get you in serious trouble. You coming clean is good though. It shows you realize you have done something wrong. I'd say that should make it so you aren't as heavily penalized. The Rendir account may still be removed though. I can't say for sure.
