BATTLEFIELD 4 OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED BY EA!

So earlier this week EA's Origin goofed when accidentally listing that you can play the BF 4 beta when pre-purchasing/pre-ordering the LIMITED EDITION (cmon EA...) of Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

Well it seems that EA has decided to come out and confirm that Battlefield 4 is indeed coming!. The beta will be available Fall 2013.

Here's the kicker...since the beta itself is taking place next year, will it be next-gen? Just some food for thought...
Either way, what are you thoughts on this exciting announcement? Too soon? Do you think it will be Next-Gen? Day one buy?

This gives me some sort of hope, even if its minuscule, as thats places the Beta at the end of next year, making BF4 a 2014 release which is when i personally peg the release of the "next gen" (god i hate that term) consoles (aka shithouse PC's). So thats actually a high probability.
Would rather them work on something completely different (2143 anyone?) and give BF3 some sort of a life, but they want Activisions shooter crowd after all, so thats kinda out the window.
