I'm not sure there are any that have not heard of the accident that Beastcub's sister, Wolfgem, was involved in, but you can read about it in her journal here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3663650/ and leave a message for her in the comments (a comprehensive new article is here: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lan.....strians.html).
I do not know Wolfgem or her boyfriend personally but her and Beastcub are members of this community (and then the even smaller community within of fursuit makers) and that is enough. I've been in tears every time I read new information or think about what happened. Or at the idea that the criminal responsible might never get caught. Not that that can make it all right.

Unless the person is caught, it's likely we will never know :/ But in the end all that matters is the lives hurt by their actions.. whatever the reasons were.

What is with all these horrific stories that have been happening lately? Either I am just becoming more aware of how lacking in compassion and commonsense… and how reckless people are lately, or this has just been a terrible year.

according to comments this is the man's 4th DUI
This guy is utter garbage, no respect for life, no sense of responsibility, I would hate for him to get off easy and then get back on the road and kill a person, they need to keep him locked up for a long time.
Getting sick of this country's leniency on dui bullshit. The first offence should get you hard time (in which you would be forced to have footage of real dui-related accidents looped on a tv 24/7) and your license permanently taken away. I don't get why that crime isn't taken more seriously.
