Rules of art-trades.

General
1 Referances: Please provide me a currect referance picture of your character, or the character you wish for me to draw. This of course helps me out GREATLY as you know what your character looks like.
2 Amount of characters: I prefer solo character pictures, but IF we do a few characters in one pic I expect you to do the same in return. And furthermore a sketched picture of multiple characters will be much easier, and may be what I limit to.
3 Fair Trade: If I do a sketch you do a sketch.
If I do flat color you do flat color.
If I fully shade and color you do full shade and color.
4 Muscle pictures: If you want muscle I will ONLY do a sketch trade. I like muscle but being forced into inking and coloring a muscle pic is a bit much for me. Muscle pictures are a lot of work, and thus take a lot of time and effort to make.
5 Finishing your part first: I prefer to wait until you finish your part before I ink/shade my part. A fairly good reason for this is I do not know your schedule, but as for me I do not have an 8 hour job, I am not going to school/college, and I am not ever that busy. So when you finish your part even to ink my picture it will not take long. Of course I will show you a sketch WIP of the picture so as to prove that I am indeed working on it. I generally upload them on Inkbunny and allow guests to view them, so even if you don't have an account there you won't need one.
6 Stories and Coloring my pics: I do accept stories, and colorations of pictures in a trade.
Stories: This all depends on the length of the story you write for me, if you do a short story all I will do is a sketch. Medium story a flat color pic. Longer story full color and shade.
And secondly, my likes with stories are limited to hyper growth, and sizes greater than planets, so if you want to do a story trade take that into account.
Coloring pics: Okay, this one is difficult to quantify fair trade, but I think it will go like this.
If you flat color my pic I will do a sketch in return.
If you fully shade my pic I will do a flat color pic.
It's just hard to be getting a picture which is essentially MY picture only colored.
6B See a sketch first: Also, I would like to request that if we are doing a flat color or shaded pic that you PLEASE show me a sketch of the image BEFORE you start inking. I of course will do the same thing in return, happily showing you the sketch before I ink the pic.
7 Being thanked: Okay, this rule may seem childish, but they are MY rules.
If you fail to thank me PROPERLY for the picture that I drew for you that will count as a strike, 3 strikes and I will no longer do art-trades with you. And no, "Thank you" and only that is not enough. If you have time to fave the picture, you have time to thank me properly, so do it.
8 Posting the picture on your page: Should you do this I ask that you of course give credit and post the link back to my original posting of the picture.
Also if you are a user that does post pictures on your page but still won't post the picture on your page that will count as a strike. If you have a page where you post pics by others on it, then it should be all or none, it DOES offend me when you do not post the picture on your page. It's like saying my picture is not good enough or something.
So there you have it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. If it's something noteworthy I will add it to my rules, or revise the rule related to your comment. So feel free to ask what you need.
Also, just so it's known so you can see how much work I put into a fully colored picture:
First I draw the picture on paper with a light pencil, then I go back over that with a dark pencil to put better detail into it, and to be able to scan it. (my scanner doesn't pick up light pencil lines.)
Next I ink the picture in MS-Paint which can take a few hours.
And last shade the picture which as well can take a few hours.
Yes, MS-Paint makes pictures take a while, but it's MY way, and I want to keep using it.
So keep all this in mind when we are doing a "fair" trade.

FA+

Well, I'll keep getting some sketch practice of my own in over the summer and see if I can't draw up an adorable Jeri in the future, myself. :D
And I certainly look forward to when you draw him. =3
With the way you send these out, I don't get that impression!
And really I'm not interested in just plain sex.
It's just I've been drawing a lot of pictures for other people.
I just don't want to do that right now.
What about multiple short stories for a colored picture? I seem to do better with short tales. No trade yet, though; I still have two others that are long tales.
when il be able to have my scanner back il ask you a trade maybe in september or october if i have enough time
Send a note with what you would want in an art trade and we will see.
