My dear creatures.

Hello everyone! Pink here!
I just wanted to check in. How is everyone doing?
Whats the weather like where you live?
Whats growing in your gardens?
Any new recipes or home projects?
Whats your creature comfort? We'd love to hear from you!
We wish you all the love and comfort. And hope that wherever you are and whatever season you're full off good cheer, loving family, and delicious food.

The weather is hot, but I'm staying indoors X3
Our garden is starting to wither because of the heat, but we're trying to perk it back up. There's a stray cat pooing in the flower boxes too, so we're having to keep him out so they don't die. Let's see, we have a tangerine tree, two Fuschias, a bird of paradise bush (Yes, they exist, despite my best friend's mother claiming otherwise), a shamrock (my little baby <3), a jasmine, a miniature rose, a little purple flower I forgot the name of, and some other stuff that I think died from the cats and squirrels x.x
New recipes not so much, unless you count my recent discovery of homemade Sonic-style chili cheese frito coneys. Yummmm...
My creature comforts are cooking and crafting, hence my crafting business <3 Now if only I could sell food, I'd be set <3
Yes, cats digging and pooing in the garden is a big issue. We're sorry to hear that.
But it sounds like you have a wonderful garden and busy home! How wonderful.
Just planted peas, we still have tomatoes and capsicum growning out of season, baby carrots, silverbeat and spinach are doing well as are rosemary, lavender, got baby parsely and corriander too. Roses have been pruned ready for a spring showing but my bottle brush is about to explode into full flower. Almond trees are blosomming and the local almond festival will happening soon. Spring is around the corner.
Not many projects on hand, life is mostly surviving the day to day events. Fixing my car is chewing my funds somewhat and scaring me half to death but my daughter and mate are offering me help so the work will get done sooner rather than later. I'm still playing arround with slow cooker recipes.
Right now my comforts are a warm place to sit, good movies to watch, good company, cats and dog to cuddle, lots of hugs and good food that is easy to prepare.
I do hope everyone here is has the comforts of life they desire. *hugs*
Almond festival? That sounds like fun! You'll have to send us some photos if you can.
We're sorry to hear about your car and hope it is resolved soon. We also wish you luck on your new recipes.
Thank you again for sharing your life with us. *hugs*
I've just started planning out things to have a hanging herb garden in our kitchen as we don't have any actual outdoor property (apartment life whee). Still thinking about what to grow, though.
I'm hoping to maybe make some terrariums for the place, depending on how well I can budget it. P:
I love cooking (baking especially), crafting, sewing, and decoration.
I've found that basil, sage, and parsley grow well in small spaces. Most will do well with proper light and nutrition. Keep us updating on what herbs you choose and how it's working for you. Let us know if we can help. :)
