I am so sorry for my absence!!!!
I have been battling my health, anxiety, and depression. I have had 3 ER visits and 6 doctor visits just in July!!!
Yikes....
Also, I was busy setting up bills and scrounging for furniture..... Moved into my own place!!!
Was busy moving and getting things settled on top of the health issues. But I was baking cookies tonight and it got me thinking about how I have neglected this page...
I am very sorry. I will post some pics of my cookies, plants, and projects.....
But in the meantime.. Can you remember you first meal or first thing you cooked in your new house? When you moved in?
Or even the first big cooking project you ever accomplished!? Share with us!
And I will be updating soon....
Again, so sorry for the delay!

I remember the first thing I learnt to cook were scones and I won a competition for it, I think I may have been about 10 or 11 years old.
The most common thing I would cook when I was broke was to boil pasta to the half way point, add 2 sliced carrots and other veg if available then when the pasta was done, I would drain the lot, add butter or margarine, then sprinkle with two packs of instant tomato soup.
As for big cooking projects, masses of snack, finger, party food...the table was groaning for some gathering or another.
Biggest and unique project was cooking food to go to the local SCA pot luck beginners dinner. I made a garlic (had a heap of the Russian giant garlic) in a cream sauce side dish, several sweet fruit roasts inc. lamb, beef and pork and savoury fruit tart-lets that were served with the roasts. *hugs*
You are so talented! *hugs*
I baked lemon poppy seed muffins today and cooked tomato bisque the daybefore. And made two peach pies last weekend.. I love being in the kitchen <3
