My old Rocko - best dog you could ever hope for - had cancer all over and he was quite old. When he got to the point of not eating, I knew it was time. I'd already gone through one such case with my son's Malamute and he lasted to the very end, but I know he was in pain and it didn't seem right.

either way for us humans it hurts... but I think it is more fair for the animal to let them just go to sleep...
