I have it. I was always playing video games like Stepmania and Guitar Hero for hours and I also played a couple instruments. One day I was in my dance class and I go to get up and I can't put weight on one of my hands. I go to the doctor, they do x-rays and find nothing so they tell me it's a pulled/torn muscle and that it would go away in a couple weeks. I wait a couple weeks and it still doesn't feel better, I go back in and they tell me it must be carpal tunnel then. So I started wearing a brace to bed and the pain went away.

Now I can't play those games or my instruments the way I used to. I'm limited to doing things for short times and taking a break when it starts hurting again. Even making fursuits is painful for me.

From what you're saying it doesn't really sound much like what I went through.

I suggest having your doctor check it out. Self diagnosis is not the best way of doing things.

I know. According to the internet I have at least one neuropsychiatric disease. I've also had lip cancer, been pregnant and I think I had hepatitis once too.

None of those diagnoses were correct, though.

May I ask where your pain is located?

Pain starts at the middle of my wrist and moves out towards my finger tips(no pinky) and my elbow.

From what I have read, carpel tunnel is a pain running from your wrist to your elbow. However, only a doc can really say what it is.

Well, I know I get pain in my hands when I draw traditionally - but that I think is from putting so much pressure on the tendons, as my pain is located in the last two fingers tendons. I have a weird way of holding a pen.
