Change of clothing/outfits does not constitute a unique subject. Users must use original models created by or for the user. Store bought, stock or downloadable models are ONLY permitted if customized to significantly and uniquely distinguish them from the original designs. Users must cite sources for any models used in customization. Please note: color/palette swaps are not considered “unique” for customization purposes. No parts of the interface may be showing."

i still think the admins were just horassing.. it tends to happen. for other people the rules are bent. then again that's my previous experience with admins... then again that was mostly on game servers so this may not...

Yeah thats the same thingy of years ago...Kinda sucks to see this place slowly falling back from the very thing it became popular for and thats freedom, I mean they slowly took away stuff little by little, its nice they at least allow a lil bit back.

The problem with freedom is that we have limited resources, and people want to upload everything -- EVERYTHING -- to the site. Art, Second Life, game screenshots, memes, music they downloaded from the Pirate Bay, etc. Somewhere, you have to draw limits.

People are used to an Internet without limits - Facebook, Photobucket, Imgur and sites that have near infinite resources. Problem is, sites like FA - small independent sites - have very limited resources to work with. Sometimes you have to cut things to protect them.

Well you can always implement an upload limit for photos, music, flash media and other huge stuff, just my grain of salt.

I've seen many examples of people uploading everything. From multiple pictures of one's backyard to multiple screenshots of Secondlife just showing off one's newest outfit.

Thanks for helping to clarify and allow Second Life works to be uploaded. I think the current restrictions might be just about right; at least as far as my own needs.

We felt it best to ease back restrictions a bit, and see where it goes from here.
