Whatever happens, please do not ever remove Intersex from the list. I've waited literally my whole life for moments like this.

If that change is coming I can't wait to have to actually fix the forced change on us by ourselfs . Cause lord knows they arn't going to go through every submission that was 'forced' changed without asking, to fix them if the fix is to put the tag back.

I'm fine with herm being added back in as an option, but intersex needs to stay as a primary tag. It took so long to get to this point.

I do not want the tag removed either. It's appropriate and honestly needed to be there. But not for another and not to be automatically set.

Simple communication of sight changes or lack there of and the automatic forcing of such is what I'm more annoyed with.

Actually intersexed means by definition "do not fit the typical definitions for male or female bodies". So that's actually a very blanket term. That would be thrown Oby and others into the same pile as Neuters, pre-op male to female trans persons, pre-op female to male persons and a cavalcade of others not on that list. If we're talking about inclusion that's not very inclusive.

In most cases calling an intersex individual a hermaphrodite is considered a slur.

Although the term intersex could include hermaphrodites, not all intersex are hermaphrodites. The term was used incorrectly for intersex people for so long that it's now a sign of ignorance if not straight up offense for most intersex people, and this in turn sort of pushed hermaphrodites out of being included in the category. Which in reality isn't a big issue since there are no cases of hermaphrodite humans (using the biological definition) but in the realm of fantasy and roleplay being called a slur for being hermaphrodite kinda stings.

Part of the reason I would prefer a separate category for hermaphrodites is to keep it from being used interchangeably with intersex which gives people a false impression of what intersex conditions are, nor give trolls an excuse to call intersex individuals in reality "hermaphrodites" as if it weren't being used as a slur.

Good news for you though, it's back in the list!
